What This Page Covers

This page explains who produces the review of EightCap published on this site, how that work is paid for, what a review can and cannot establish, and how a reader can challenge anything we publish. It does not describe the broker's services, terms or pricing, and it is not a substitute for the broker's own legal documents. Nothing here is financial advice, and nothing here should be read as an invitation to open an account or deposit funds.

We are an independent editorial resource. We are not EightCap. We have no ownership, agency, referral or employment relationship with the broker, and we do not hold ourselves out as acting for it in any capacity. We do not provide financial services, do not open accounts, do not accept deposits and do not manage money for anyone. Our output is written analysis for readers in Kenya who want a second, structured opinion before they make their own decisions.

The review reflects the public record as we found it at the time of writing, together with our own reading of the broker's published terms. Where we could not verify something, we say so rather than filling the gap. Where the broker's documents changed after publication, the review may lag behind them until we revise it.

How We Are Funded

The site pays for itself through advertising and commercial arrangements with parties other than the broker under review. Those arrangements are kept away from the editorial process. No advertiser, sponsor or commercial counterparty sees a draft, suggests a conclusion, approves a verdict or is given advance notice of a rating. Money does not buy a better assessment, and the absence of money does not buy a worse one.

We do not accept payment from EightCap for this review, and we do not accept payment in exchange for a favourable outcome, a softened criticism or the removal of a finding. If a commercial relationship ever creates a conflict that we cannot manage by separation alone, we disclose it on the page concerned and, where necessary, we stop covering the subject.

Readers do not pay us, and we do not earn from any account opened as a result of reading this site. That independence is the whole point of the exercise: a review that depends on the goodwill of the party being reviewed is not a review.

What a Review Cannot Do

A review is a snapshot of published information, not a guarantee of how a broker will behave tomorrow. We can read terms, compare them against common practice and flag clauses that deserve a reader's attention. We cannot test execution speed under your connection, observe how a complaint is handled in your particular case, or predict how a firm will treat a customer when a dispute turns difficult.

We cannot verify facts that are not publicly available, and we do not have access to the broker's internal records, client files or complaint logs. Where a claim rests on the broker's own statements, we identify it as such. Where our reading of a clause differs from the broker's intention, our reading may be wrong, and we welcome correction.

Most importantly, a review cannot tell you whether a product suits you. Suitability depends on your circumstances, your experience, your tolerance for loss and your objectives, none of which we know. Nothing published here is a personal recommendation, and no review, however careful, removes the risk of loss.

How to Challenge Us

If you believe something published here is inaccurate, out of date or unfair, tell us. The contact form on this site reaches the editorial team directly. Include the page, the specific statement you dispute and the basis for your view, with a source where one exists. We read every message and we respond to substantive challenges.

We will correct factual errors promptly and visibly, noting what changed and when. If we disagree with a challenge, we will explain why rather than quietly ignoring it. If new information undermines a conclusion, we revise the conclusion, not merely the wording around it. We do not remove accurate findings because someone finds them inconvenient.

This site exists for readers in Kenya weighing a broker decision without a local editorial voice they can hold to account. It is written for people who want the reasoning, the gaps and the caveats placed in front of them, not a verdict sold to the highest bidder. Holding us to that standard is part of using the site.
